As Many people know, this was a memorial race for our friend Sean Langevin. On November 9th, 2007, Cpl. Sean Langevin Was Killed In Afganistan. Sean was a Childhood friend of Race Founder Paul Gamache and I. We both learned to boat with Sean as kids. On February 4th, 2008, his wife gave birth to their daughter. This race benifited the trust set up for their daughter and was able to raise nearly $900. If anyone would like to donate, go to any Wells Fargo branch and ask to donate to the Sean Langevin Memorial Trust under the name Roxanne Lengevin (his mom). Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the event, and to the folks who supported the raffle with donations. Thanks. It meant a lot.
